Garland is a sweet, cuddle-bug who yearns for a patient home to call his own. While a little hand-shy, Garland has overcome his big fears in the world and deserves humans willing to work through his quirky personality triggers. It is evident that his past has moments of trauma that bring out the frightened pup in him, for example… Garland is the kind of puppy who will play fetch all day, happy and content, until his fit is ruffled a little too rough, then he becomes afraid. His foster family has been working through these moments with him to ease him into a better understanding that he is safe and loved.
Like a typical puppy, he is friendly and happy, and enjoys the “fun” in being a carefree pup. He’s had exposure to kitties and toddlers, who have all had supervised and positive experiences with Garland. His curiosity lends itself to a little “trouble and mischief” but it’s all good and behaviorally appropriate for a puppy of his age.
Potty training is well underway with this guy, and he will soon master this skill with a consistent routine.
Little Garland is moldable and has the potential to develop into a fantastic and confident adult dog. With the right ingredients of patience, time, and a kind hand, you’ll have a real gem on your hands.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.
Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for GARLAND, as well as his future family.

Adoption fee is $500.00.
Adoption fees help cover the costs of Transport, Distemper/Parvo Boosters, Rabies shot, Microchip, and Spay/Neuters. You will also receive a PetSmart coupon sheet worth hundreds of dollars in savings, including a FREE bag of food, 30 min private training session with an accredited dog trainer.
