AGE: approx. 2 years old

WEIGHT: approx. 12-14 lbs.

Goldie is a very sweet girl who LOVES attention. She is a girl who likes to be on the move, with higher-energy than you’d normally think, and craves an active forever home to keep up with her need to adventure.

Goldie will require a VERY secure yard or an apartment where she is taken in regular walks without fail. Leaving Goldie alone in a yard means she will test all the possible routes and exit spots to make her way out into the world for some sassy strutting around the neighborhood. She is a social girl who will find a way to go visit neighbors or take a herself for a stroll to satisfy her need to be a mover and a shaker. Thankfully, Goldie won’t really “bolt” out the door - she is more of a curious girl who likes to push buttons and figure out how things work. She is SUPER SMART!!

On a leash, Goldie is great and fit enough to go on longer outings.

She is crate trained and pretty good in there. She is not "barky".

Goldie needs mental stimulation to keep her happy in her daily life - dog puzzles and toys would be great. If she becomes bored she will seek out mischief.

Unfortunately she requires a house with NO CATS or other small furries beings, as she is a terrier and LOVES to chase. If you need squirrels out of your garden, Goldie could be your gal!

Goldie’s successful placement/adoption means our strong recommendation to get this girl into obedience training. Her future adopter will be offered an adoption fee discount with confirmed registration for training. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.

Adoption fee is $600.00

Adoption fees help cover the costs of Transport, Distemper/Parvo Boosters, Rabies shot, Microchip, and Spay/Neuters. You will also receive a PetSmart coupon sheet worth hundreds of dollars in savings, including a FREE bag of food.

Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog OR a response email if you aren't chosen to adopt the dog you've applied for as we receive hundreds of applications and will choose the best home for the dog.
