LIKES: Beautifully brindle, Gouda, is a sweet and easy going guy. He likes cuddles and naps on the couch. He loves to run zoomies in the garden with sister, Parmesan.

DISLIKES: Gouda dislikes being reached for too quickly, but he ultimately loves being picked up and held. He also dislikes the loud noise of kibble hitting his metal food bowl.

POTTY TRAINING STSTUS: Almost there. Gouda has access to a dog door most of the day and is taken outside regularly (as soon as he awakens, after meals, and before bed) where he will potty. He also uses a potty pad while inside the house.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Has an open-door crate, with toys, that he likes to rest in. He likes his crate and will go inside to lie down, and is comfortable in there. He has slept in a crate with sister, Parmesan, overnight with no issues, though likes very much to sleep in his human’s bed.

PERSONALITY: He can be shy at first, but warms up quickly. Gouda is super sweet and affectionate. He comes when called and likes to sit or lie down while touching his human. He gets along just fine with the resident big dog (lab mix) and is also adjusting to cats in the home. Overall, Gouda is a very gentle and connected pup.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.
