Jasper and Tuff are a very bonded pair. As you can tell, where one lays so does the other. Where one sits, the other is quick to place a rump as well. Tuff keeps Jasper young and Jasper mellows Tuff out. If Jasper crawls in bed with his foster parent… there’s no room for anyone else, but Tuff will insist 🤣 even if that means his back half stands on the ground while he snuggles. 🥰

These two are wonderful and sweet, curious and playful, timid and shy. They are great alert dogs, who are working on “protecting” on the farm. Tuff will bound around the pasture aimlessly with his tongue hanging out, and Jasper will sunbathe close to her human.

They get along great with other dogs, resident cat, pigs on the other side of the fence, horses, and cows. Jasper is interested in the resident baby goat, but not aggressive. However she needs more training to be “gentle”. Tuff and Jasper enjoy birds… while watched, they will redirect it but, if not, they can accidentally (very playfully spirited) be too rough. 🙃🙂

Both dogs are wonderful with kids, though Tuff has sometimes lost control of his hind end and run a kid or two over with it in the process. 😜

These two gentle tanks need a consistent, loving, home that will allow them to stay together. Tuff is very much emotionally connected to Jasper, and Jasper seeks out Tuff for comfort, as well.

If there is no other alternative, then separating them needs to be done slowly so they adjust to being apart for periods of time before losing each other for good. This separation is, and will be, a huge transition for both and seeing new behaviors is

guaranteed while the process plays out.
