BREED: Terrier/ Chihuahua blend

AGE: 2 years old

WEIGHT: 12 pounds

LIKES: having the undivided attention of his people, taking lots of naps, snuggling on laps and under blankets, getting treats for being a good boy, being held, curling up like a little cinnamon bun, and giving kisses.

DISLIKES: other dogs too close to his food, being startled awake, sharing his people’s attention. Linus DOES NOT like cats.

Linus is a smaller dog with big personality and attitude! He is very sweet and loving toward his people, but sometimes struggles with other dogs. He has a need to be the top dog, even for his small size. For this reason, he would be most successful as an “only” dog, or possibly with one other passive dog. He is calmer than a puppy, but still enjoys playing as well.

Linus has done well with kids but can get nervous with too much energy.

Sweet Linus is an absolute love, and only wants to be near you and love you. He could make a great companion for the right person. He has shown a slight preference for women but has grown to love the man of the house in her foster home.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Linus is on his way to being potty trained. He really loves treats and wants to please. He has been doing great in his foster home.

CRATE TRAINING: Linus sleeps peacefully all night in his crate.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.  We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for LINUS, as well as his future family.

Adoption fee is $550.00.

Adoption fees help cover the costs of Transport, Distemper/Parvo Boosters, Rabies shot, Microchip, and Spay/Neuters. You will also receive a PetSmart coupon sheet worth hundreds of dollars in savings, including a FREE bag of food.

Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog OR a response email if you aren't chosen to adopt the dog you've applied for as we receive hundreds of applications and will choose the best home for the dog.

Must live within 30 Miles of Eugene!!
