BREED: Chihuahua/Terrier blend (possibly some Pug…or wild Dingo 😂)

AGE: 5 months

WEIGHT: 7.5 lbs.

MAY enjoys playing with other dogs and with her toys. She will race around the yard to get other dogs to chase her, then flatten herself to the ground when it's time to get picked up. She likes to be held and make the silliest faces, too. She has loads of personality!

MAY gets along well with adults and kids, is curiously friendly with cats, and loves dogs. She would love to have a buddy to run around the yard with and snuggle when she's home alone. She is fine with bigger dogs as long as they don't hurt her!

Potty training is a work in progress. MAY is using potty pads in the pen and going potty outside in the dog run of their foster home, too. (She is still eating 3 meals a day and can't hold her bladder very long, so she will need mid-day potty breaks in her forever home until she is more mature.)

MAY is a champ when it comes to bathing and grooming, and even lets her foster mom use the grinder on her nails.

MAY does well in an x-pen when not being supervised, and loves her blankies and dog bed to snooze in. She is still working on her leash skills to go for walks, but she does love sunning herself in the yard on these nice summer days.

All puppies require extra time and patience, as well as solid supervision to help them reach expected milestones, like potty training and crate training. Each has their own personality that their forever family will want to pay close attention to as they “train” together to develop a well adjusted adult in the future.

Adoption fee is $600.00.

Adoption fees help cover the costs of Transport, Distemper/Parvo Boosters, Rabies vaccine, Microchip, and Spay/Neuters. You will also receive a PetSmart coupon sheet worth hundreds of dollars of savings including a FREE bag of food and a 30-minute private training session with an accredited dog trainer.

PLEASE NOTE:

Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog OR a response email if you aren't chosen to adopt the dog you've applied for as we receive hundreds of applications and will choose the best home for the dog.
