Nuri is a lover. He prefers to be by his person at all times, preferably in their lap!

LIKES: Running around outside in the yard. He plays with the large breed dog in his foster home and has shown the ability to coexist with the cat in his foster home.

DISLIKES: He doesn't like to be picked up, he wants to be with you on his terms. He also seems to be a bit of a "foodie" and has shown some selectivity with treats.

POTTY TRAINING: He will go outside but needs someone to be there with him. He can hold it all night in his crate. He does piddle when he's excited.

CRATE: He doesn’t love the crate but does well at night in it. If you put him in there during the day and your home he will express his dissatisfaction.

OTHER/MISC: In the morning he gets excited and will jump up on your legs or if you’re sitting on the couch - he needs some more work on this. He’s smart and can be trainable. He’s actually very calm for his age and it’s shocking when he gets the zoomies. You forget most of the time he’s so young, because he’s very chill.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
