Peyton is a very friendly, fun loving companion. She warms up to humans very quickly and is good with both younger and older children. While it takes her a little bit to warm up to a new dog friend, once she does, she loves to play. Her favorite activity is to run around, chasing her foster siblings! In the evening she would love to settle down and lay next to you on the couch. She likes all the pets and cuddles she can get.

Peyton is very easygoing and allows you to bathe and cut her nails with no fight. She is also potty trained in her foster home, and as long as she has consistent potty breaks outside, she will have no accidents. She easily goes all night without having an accident.

Peyton is young and would do best in an active home with another dog and some walk-loving humans and a yard. She is still very fond of chewing, and needs some good chew toys for when she's bored.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
