LIKES: SNOOP DOG loves snuggling and being with his people. He loves to play with other dogs, once he gets to know them. He loves treats and is very treat motivated and loves Kongs.

DISLIKES: Being handled before he gets to know someone, sharing his toys/treats with other dogs, having toys taken away by people he doesn't trust. He isn’t fond of being picked up but does fine with people he trusts.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: SNOOP DOG is a very sweet dog that has gotten along well with all of the people in his foster home and people who have visited, as well.

He is a bit head-shy and doesn't love having new people touch him around his ears. This may be because he has some scabs, from an unknown injury, that are healing in that area.

SNOOP DOG doesn't like to share and can get snappy with other dogs around food and toys. His foster family has worked with him on this behavior, and it has drastically improved since he arrived in their care, though we recommend he continue to be monitored in his adopted home.

When it comes to friendliness toward other dogs, he loves to play with the dogs in his foster home and will also be great as an only dog with people who can give him lots of love and engagement. SNOOP DOG loves to sit close to his people, often burrowing under available blankets when it’s snuggle-time.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: SNOOP DOG had a few accidents in his foster home when he first arrived. He is doing great now that he is settled and picked up on the routine.

CRATE TRAINING: He can be a little whiny when placed in his crate but is easily distracted if left with a frozen Kong.

SNOOP DOG still has puppy tendencies and is working on jumping and mouthiness, so a home with adults and older children would be best.

EXTRA: SNOOP DOG is super sweet and just wants to be loved. He will find the greatest success in a home where he can be given plenty of attention and daily enrichment to keep his brain occupied. Though leash walks aren’t his favorite, he does love to explore…cautiously. He will probably be a great walking buddy as his confident grows and his exposure to the world around him broadens.

Adoption fees help cover the costs of Transport, Distemper/Parvo Boosters, Rabies shot, Microchip, and Spay/Neuters, as well the dog comes with a collar, harness and leash. You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with 100.00's of dollars of savings, you get a FREE bag of food, 30 min private training session with a certified dog trainer as well as a free checkup at Banfield.

Submitting an application in no way guarantees you a dog as we receive several applications and will choose the best home for the dog.

Must live within 30 miles of Eugene!! If you live outside the 30 mile area, still send an email as some time, we can make special arrangements.

Wiggly Tails Dog Rescue is proud to rescue dogs in urgent need and to also assist local owners who can no longer care for their small breed dog. All our dogs are up to date on their shots and spay or neutered. We do require a foster or adoption application for those interested and will visit your home for a meet and greet before releasing the dog to you.
