💥 STEVIE 💥

Lab blend (possibly with Shepherd/Pitbull as well), 25 lbs., 5 months old

It’s apparent that Stevie hasn’t had much human interaction growing up, but each day she comes out of her shell more and more. Though she is timid upon approaching her, and a “flight risk” most of the time, Stevie will allow a slow approach, while laying down, and accept loving pets. Once she’s comfortable, she will even snuggle! 🥰

In her foster home, Stevie is learning quite a bit from the resident dogs, and we believe she will benefit from a confident dog in her forever home to show her the ropes. Stevie’s foster family is working to help her become more comfortable on leash, however it’s recommended that she also be securely harnessed, and patience exercises, to train on short walks. There’s still work to be done, and we know this girl can overcome her uncertainty with the leash with time and practice.

Crate trained and mostly potty trained, Stevie will meet this important benchmark in no time. She does have a bit of a nervous bladder and dribble a little when spooked. (Don’t we all?‍)

Stevie is coming into her own and is seeking a patient person to support her growth and development into a well-balanced adult dog. Being a puppy, and an adorable one at that, we recommend older kiddos (12 and up) as she can be a little “mouthy”. She is growing and changing every single day, and we believe she will grow up to be a really great dog!
