Wiggly Tails:
Your Partner for Eugene and Springfield, OR
Dog Adoptions

Searching for a new furry family member? Wiggly Tails Dog Rescue is a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to Eugene, OR dog adoptions. As an Oregon dog rescue, we specialize in saving small dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in California, as well as supporting local owner-surrendered pets in our community.

Thinking About Adopting a Dog? We know that adopting a dog is a big decision. That’s why our rescue operates on a foster-based model. Every dog we rescue receives:

- Comprehensive Care: Each pet is evaluated and provided with essential veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery and up-to-date vaccinations.

- A Loving Start:
Dogs are placed in local foster homes rather than kennels, allowing them to socialize in a real home environment.

- The Right Match:
Our unique foster-to-adopt model ensures that every dog and owner are a perfect fit before the adoption is finalized.

Meet Your New Best Friend

Success Stories

Cute chihuahua licking it's female owners face

I wasn’t expecting to adopt a chihuahua, but when I first spotted Barney at a Wiggly Tails adoption event, I knew my spouse and I had to meet him. Our older dog, Gizmo, and Barney were pals from the start, which was great. But even more terrific is what a wonderful pal Barney has been for me. Not much makes me happier than having my little buddy by my side during Zoom meetings or on my lap when I kick my feet up in the evening, making me laugh when he drags around a stuffed toy that’s at least as big as him.

Cute terrier mix on sleeping on its back

We've adopted all of our dogs through rescues, but this is the first time we adopted a puppy, Casper, an adorable Chi mix. It has been quite a ride, but well worth it as we watch him grow and blossom from a tiny puppy to an awesome adult dog. Thank you Wiggly Tails for bringing Casper into our lives!

Fritz the dog sleeping on a chair

Fritz is such a wonderful addition to our family. He has blossomed so much in the 11 months we have had him...He is sweet, he is calm and charms everyone he meets. He is healthy you wouldn't believe how thick and healthy his skin and fur are. He is funny when he wants to go outside he likes to get in my face and tries to talk. He is a joy. Please know that all the work you put into your foster dogs is worth it. Each one is a present waiting to be opened and loved. Thank you to our foster and Wiggly Tails for letting us have Fritz to love."
