Complete and submit an application. Tell us about yourself, your family, other pets, and how the dog will mesh with your lifestyle.
Our Adoption Coordinators will review your application along with other applications and select the one that is the best fit. If you are selected, you will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and set up meet and greet within 48 hours or at next adoption event depending on foster availability.
At the meet and greet or adoption event, you will have the chance to spend time with the dog and introduce it to other household members.
A volunteer will arrange the finalization of the adoption. You will need to sign the adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee. We do same-day adoptions, so come to the meet and greet prepared to take your dog home.
Your foster-to-adopt trial period begins. During this 7-day trial you can make sure the dog is a good fit in your home, and you can reach out for support or return the dog.
