Gretel
8 mos, spayed female, 8 lbs
Terrier mix

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Gretel is a little bit anxious when she meets new people, but warms up and settles in after a few days and then becomes glued to the side of her people.

LIKES: Walks, toys, and soft dog beds and pillows on the couch

DISLIKES: Strangers coming into her home! She barks and tells them to go away, but settles down after a while. Her foster has been working with her and she had improved.

POTTY TRAINING: Does well if taken out frequently

CRATE TRAINING: She can spend 3-4 hours crated when needed without issue.

OTHER/MISC: She loves playing with other dogs! She is working on getting comfortable with guests arriving in the home, and her response is to bark at them for a while, even while being petted. This is the biggest area of training that will need work. Because of her vocal nature, we do not recommend Gretel go to a home with shared walls.
