Ramona
2 years, spayed female, 19 lbs
Chihuahua terrier mix
LIKES: Belly rubs, sniffing everything she can, watching squirrels, walks with her humans, warm nap spots, and chew toys.
DISLIKES: Fast moving humans, the joy and laughter of young children (she is a bit timid and doesn't like fast, unpredictable movement). Unfamiliar exterior doors (it takes her a while to get comfortable with a new doorway). Being more than 12 inches away from the camera when you are trying to take her picture - she's ready for her close-up!
PERSONALITY TRAITS: Ramona is shy at first, but is a wonderfully sweet pup when she warms up to you. She needs her time to warm up to get comfortable with new people or places. She can be very playful when she gets comfortable, but is a vey mellow dog overall. She doesn't bark much unless she is playing or trying to tell you something.
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Yes. She does very well going outside on a regular schedule, and she will remind you with a bark or potty dance if you forget.
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: She sleeps in her crate quietly, all night long.
EXTRAS/MISC.: She lives with a 9 year old human in her foster home and does very well with her. She would probably prefer children who can move slowly and be respectful of her timidness and boundaries. She is quick to seek out a safe space when overwhelmed.
She is a very easy going pup who enjoys a combo of napping around the house, walks and exploring the yard. She does well when left alone for short periods of time in a controlled environment.
