Curly
3 mos, n/m, 9 lbs
Terrier mix
Meet Curly! He is a spitfire with a sense of humor. He's got a big personality in that little body. He's goofy and fun. He has the cutest underbite and when he's really excited, it looks like he's smiling, showing his bottom lil teefs. He's always trying to get his brothers to play with him. everywhere he goes, he's gotta go super fast! He loves to run speedy quick.
Curly loves toys of all kinds and bones or similar things to chew on. He likes to fetch but is still figuring out the bring it back part. He enjoys exploring outside in the backyard. He is not afraid of the big dogs in his foster home at all. When he hears them out and about, he runs patrol and lets out his best big boy bark to let them know he's here. Curly barks if he hears something or to alert you that something is going on.
He loves to give kisses and be loved on. When he's tired, he'll curl up on your lap and absolutely melts if you rub his ears and neck. He has a medium energy level. He's active and likes to go go go. He doesn't want to sit still until he's tired.
His dislikes include bath time, being away from the action, being in the xpen when he's not tired (however a cozy bed makes him pretty happy when he's contained).
Potty training is a work in progress. He will reliably seek out a potty pad. He is a smart boy and he will likely learn outside potty time pretty quickly with a good schedule.
Crate training is also a work in progress. He currently sleeps in X-pen with brothers.
We expect Curly to be a medium-sized dog. As with all puppies, Curly would benefit from puppy training to help him grow into the best dog he can be.
Curly has two cherry eyes and may need minor surgery in the future to repair this condition.
