Meet Moe! He is a sweet and playful guy who likes to observe the world around him. He likes to sit back and see what's going on before he decides if he wants to join in. New things can be a little scary sometimes and he does need a little extra encouragement to take on the big world. But once he's comfortable, he is the sweetest boy who loves his belly rubs and giving kisses. He'll look at you with big brown eyes, tail wagging, and a sweet little whine and runs up, jumping on his tiny little legs, wanting to give kisses.

Moe loves toys of all kinds and bones or similar things to chew on. He will happily find a doggy bed and lounge with a good chew toy, keeping an eye on what's going on around him. He loves to play tug of war and will bring a toy to entice you to play with him. He enjoys exploring outside in the backyard. He enjoys wrestling and running around with his brothers. Moe is not afraid of the big dogs -- he likes to give kisses to the older dogs in his foster home and follow them around. He's food motivated and enjoys treats.

He has a medium energy level, and plays until he gets tired and wants to cuddle.

His dislikes include bath time, being away from the action, being in the xpen when he's not tired (however a cozy bed makes him pretty happy when he's contained ).

Potty training is a work in progress. He will reliably seek out a potty pad. He is a smart boy and he will likely learn outside potty time pretty quickly with a good schedule.

Crate training is also a work in progress. He currently sleeps in X-pen with brothers.

We expect Moe to be a medium-sized dog. As with all puppies, Moe would benefit from puppy training to help him grow into the best dog he can be.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
