LIKES: Being outside, going for walks, looking out the window, chew toys, being a Velcro dog, snuggles, big blankets, socks, sleeping all day, and car rides

DISLIKES: Big dogs, disturbing his sleep, loud noises, hats/hoods, being outside when it’s raining

PERSONALITY TRAITS: It takes Flaco a second to warm up to people but once he does he is the best dog. He will be attached at your hip if you want him to be. He has a goofy personality. He is clumsy and just wants to play most of the time. He loves walks, if he could be outside 24/7 he would be. He is a total sunbather and will chill with you but is always down for an adventure!

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Potty trained! he sits by the door and tells you when he needs to go out!

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Is very good in the crate but would prefer to snuggle in bed.

EXTRA INFO: Flaco is a very smart dog! he is very easily trainable and will listen to commands very easily! he already has learned how to shake!! He is very smart and intuitive. He just wants to be around someone all the time. He is very sweet once he warms up to people. His bark is definitely bigger than his bite. He is a timid dog at first to new people but shortly after his personality comes out! Flaco's adopters must be patient with him and give him time to settle in a new environment. Once you do, he will shine. No homes with young children or large dogs.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
