Pickles 🥒
2 years, spayed female, 18 lbs
Pug mix
Pickles is the adult mom of the Puglets. She seems to get along with every dog she meets, and doesn't mind the cats. You really have to meet her to understand what a mixture of anxiety and hilarity she is.
Pickles is potty trained and crate trained in her foster home.
Adopters ideally will have:
- Pug experience/knowledge. Pugs have trouble in the heat and can have their own unique issues due to their breathing. We'd love for our adopters to have knowledge of their needs.
- A securely fenced yard. Pickles will need a secure yard to potty in until she feels safe enough in her new home to venture out. Pickles is just now getting used to leash training in her foster home, but it will be awhile before she might be comfortable enough to potty on leash.
- A location close to the Eugene/Springfield area. We'd like Pickles to stay closer to home so we can assist in her transition as needed.
- A similar-sized dog-friend at home. Pickles will do much better in homes where there is another dog to show her the ropes. A gentle friend will help her open up and be more playful. plus it's nice to have another dog to teach house routines.
- Patience. Pickles will need patient and empathetic adopters to give her time to settle in and get more comfortable with her new home.

Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how PICKLES will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.
Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.
We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for PICKLES, as well as her future family.
