This sweet boy is a playful, rambunctious pup. He loves toys and playing fetch with his favorite squeaky ball. He uses a potty pad but also goes outside regularly. He is crate-trained and sleeps well inside overnight. Rufus enjoys naps in laps and likes to be held and walked around to calm down. He’s all love and snuggles.

Rufus is tolerant of cats but will chase if outside. He plays well his foster sibling. He loves people and kids of all ages.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
