PERSONALITY TRAITS: She is a nervous and anxious girl and timid to touch in the beginning and then she gets attached and is your magnet. Not much of a barker, she does alarm and then quiets down if told so.

LIKES: She would love to be the only lap dog in the house and competes for the space of any others, but not aggressively. Loves to go outside {responds to that word excitedly) and go on walks and walks on leash perfectly. Likes both men and women. She doesn’t mind walking in the rain. Not sure how she would be around kids.

DISLIKES: Loud noises, (trains, gun shots and thunder), hands coming at her quickly, quick movements and touching her feet. She is improving in these areas every day. She doesn’t bother our indoor cat unless he gets too playful in the house, but wants to chase our outside cat.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: She needs to be let out on a regular basis and will go when she needs to but does not ask to go out. Will use the pee pad inside at will.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: She does great in the crate. Goes in to eat and sleep. She likes to stay out in a dog bed during the day.

EXTRAS/MISC: She is a pretty smart little girl. Will stay when told to and a very sweet companion when she takes to you. It was only about a day or so that she came out of her shell.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
