Chihuahua mix

LIKES: Chew toys, tennis balls, cuddling, running around the yard, going for walks, having a job to do, cats, dogs, new people.

DISLIKES: Being alone. She does well in her crate, but she is very excited to get out when we get home. She will cry if you are in the other room and she can’t follow you.

POTTY TRAINING: She does well with a routine and needs extra encouragement when it’s raining.

CRATE TRAINING: Settles right into her crate for the night. Does well crated when we are away.

OTHER/MISC: She is working on gaining confidence with stairs. She can do it, but she tends to overthink the process. Treats help as she is very food motivated. Cuddles doesn’t pull on walks and is very easy going. She would do really well in a home with another dog to help her gain confidence. She still has puppy energy.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
