Meet THE POTATOES!
These large-breed pups are a mix of herding breeds and something big. These lazy bums are 2 months old and 8-9 lbs each. They are currently in a puppy pen but they are excited to move outside to your (fully fenced) yard for play and potty time.
- Anuschka (f) black with white line on her face - smallest, clever, just like her mom
- Banana (m) white male with black spots - big baby lap dog, would be thrilled if you just carried him
- Bamberg (m) black with small white features - bossy but anxious at the same time, can be the shy guy
Like any puppy, these kids would highly benefit from social exposure and training. Puppy classes and continued training are a must for them, as they may be 60-80 lbs some day.
They have met cats, kids, and dogs. They seem to like playing in water as their mouths open right up for a squirt bottle! They are very huggable and people-oriented, but still like playing together or with their toys.
Their spay/neuter is included with the adoption, but adopters must be available for an early morning drop off at the veterinary clinic in Springfield.
To further inquire about a POTATO litter puppy, submit an application.
Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how a POTATO litter puppy will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.
Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for the POTATO litter as well as their future families.
