Nico is brave, smart, curious and very playful. Along with the siblings in this litter, Nico is food motivated, athletic, and alert. He eats and plays and then enjoys a nap or a snuggle session.

LIKES: Other dogs, toys, food, exploring the yard.

DISLIKES: Being in his X-pen for too long.

POTTY TRAINING: Nico uses potty pads in the X-pen and goes potty outside when given access. He needs a good routine, but is well on his  way.

CRATE TRAINING: Nico sleeps in a cozy crate with his siblings at night with the door open. He puts himself to bed in there and finds it to be a safe place to chill out.

OTHER/MISC: Nico's mom, Ellis, is a petite 8 lb terrier. But we don't know what the dad was. We estimate this litter will be small breed adults. The mom was found as a pregnant stray and then taken to a foster home with children and other dogs. The litter has been well socialized so far and follow humans around the house and yard and come when called to. This group of terriers can be very vocal and may not be well-suited for close-proximity living. As with all pups, Nico would benefit from puppy classes to teach him to be the best dog he can be.
