LIKES: Attention! Elliot is fine with other dogs and loves to cuddle. He is playful and loves toys. He's a kind of perfect little guy.

DISLIKES: Loud noises like lawn mowers and vacuum cleaners.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Elliot is a happy, affectionate dog who loves to be with his people, snuggle in warm blankets and go on adventures.

POTTY TRAINING: Elliot does well going ouside on a consistent schedule, but as with many chihuahuas he needs to be coaxed to go outside when it's raining.

CRATE TRAINING: He will complain a little about the crate but settles in

OTHER/MISC: Elliot really enjoys chasing the resident cat that is almost twice his size.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
