PERSONALITY TRAITS: Minerva is a loving pup looking for someone to shower her affection on and play with. She is a goofy girl with zero aggression. It’s all love with this dog. She has bursts of energy during the day, but also likes snuggling quietly on the couch in the evening too.

LIKES: Food, pets, chew toys, play time, the other dogs in the house.

DISLIKES: Not much. Minerva is an easy-going, happy girl but doesn’t love having her nails cut.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: She is mostly house-trained, with a few accidents just while she was getting used to her new routine and surroundings.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Yes. Foster family crates her at night and when she is home alone. She would definitely prefer to sleep on the bed though!

EXTRAS/MISC: Minerva is working on leash training. At first she seemed scared to go on a solo walk, but once she went on a walk with another dog, she felt much safer and enjoyed it. Minerva would benefit from continued training and needs a home that understands that she is still a puppy and needs to be supervised and provided with appropriate chew toys and mental stimulation. She gets along great with other dogs. Unknown if she gets along with kids and cats, but based on her temperament, she would likely be great with kids.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
