DISLIKES: Being alone, not being a part of the family activities

Athena is fully potty trained. She goes on regular walks daily with the other dogs, but will also just go potty if she’s let out into the yard. She will go into a pen or kennel, but she doesn't love it.

Athena is good on a leash and enjoys short walks. She’s good with people of all ages and other dogs. She seems fine with the resident cats.

Athena came to us after her former family lost their housing. She’s a great family dog who needs a new place to land.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
