Meet Carl! He is a sweet pup, and very loving. He loves to play and has some stamina, but also enjoys his relaxation time.
LIKES: Cuddling with his people and burrowing in his blanket. Exploring in the yard. Kids and teenagers.
DISLIKES: He's not the biggest fan of the leash, though he tolerates it pretty well. Timid when cars pass by on walks. He also gets easily startled when napping.
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Potty trained in his foster home. Does great on a schedule.
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Stays quietly all night in his crate. He seems to enjoy chilling in there periodically throughout the day.
EXTRAS/MISC: Carl is a playful and sweet chihuahua mix. He has bonded well with his people in his foster home, including and 8-year-old child. He is very easy going, overall.
He travels well in his crate and goes in willingly, sometimes even putting himself in the crate to nap. But he would rather be snoozing with his person at night. He does well with other dogs after he meets them, he will bark at cats but only initially until he is used to them. He does bark if approached by strangers, but settles quickly. He will make a great best friend for just about anyone.
