Meet Jax! He is a lively and lovable pup with a big personality. He’s full of energy and loves engaging with his people—whether it’s romping around the yard or chasing his favorite toys. Jax thrives on interaction and wants to be part of whatever’s going on. He is still learning to trust and can be a bit unsure in new situations, but with patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats, he warms up quickly and reveals his sweet, affectionate nature.

LIKES: Jax enjoys playing with his people and his favorite toys. He loves being outside in the backyard and is also a fan of treats.

DISLIKES: Jax is still getting the hang of walking on a leash and is not yet fond of bathtime

CRATE TRAINING: Jax sleeps well in his crate overnight.

POTTY TRAINING: Potty training is a work in progress. Jax has been successful when kept on a consistent schedule. He finds puppy pads a bit too fun—they often turn into toys—so outdoor potty breaks work best for him.

OTHER/MISC: Jax is a great pup and would love a home with a fenced yard so he can get out his wiggles! When Jax is excited he will reverse sneeze to tell you he's not done playing and wants more! This smart guy would benefit from a beginning training class to help build his communication and understanding of human expectations and help him be the best dog he can be. With all his energy, he might even want to learn agility or other dog sports.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family.
