Teller

1 year, spayed female, 9.5 lbs

Terrier mix

Meet Teller! She is a very shy and quiet girl who loves her humans and wants to snuggle, cuddle and be carried all of the time!

LIKES: Treats, belly rubs, being carried in her sling, cuddling and snuggling and sunbathing. Extremely food motivated.

DISLIKES: Lots of noise and busy environmmets. Other dogs sniffing around her space or resources.

CRATE TRAINING: Fully crate trained. No accidents or whining in crate. Will go into crate on her own to feel safe

POTTY TRAINING: No accidents in her foster home where she has been going outside on a schedule.

OTHER/MISC: Teller is the sweetest girl who just wants to be loved. She is quiet and barely barks, whines or whimpers in her foster home and can be timid when you try to pick her up but with time and patience has shown signs of opening up and wagging her tail. She is unsure about the leash but will likely easily learn to walk on one with some training.

With time to settle in, I believe she will be a curious and medium energy dog, enjoying following her humans around and exploring smells in the yard. At this time a fenced yard will be the best placement for TELLER. She would do best in a home with older kids or adults, as well as being the only dog in the home. She has shown some heavy resource guarding with the other dogs in her foster home, but not with people. She is curious about the resident dogs, and wants to play in common areas, but has issues when resources are involved.
