PERSONALITY TRAITS: Spicy is curious and playful and is able to settle down after she gets her wiggles out.

LIKES: Spicy loves to play with her sister in her foster home and train with her foster family for kibble “treats.” She loves to snuggle and fall asleep on laps and loves pets and giving kisses.

DISLIKES: None so far.

POTTY TRAINING: Spicy has been doing very good with using the bathroom only outside. She knows the command “go potty” and has only had a few accidents. Giving her an opportunity to go outside for frequent bathroom breaks and rewarding her when she does so has led to her success.

CRATE TRAINING: Spicy uses her crate at night and is able to do four-hour stretches before needing a bathroom break. Spicy usures her crate as a safe, cozy space and doesn’t mind being closed in at night. She has never had an accident in her crate.

EXTRA/MISC: Spicy is a fast learner and knows the command “Come” at which point she will come and sit patiently at your feet until she is rewarded with treats or praise. She also knows the command “sit” and waits patiently while we hold the treat in front of her and doesn’t take it until as say “take it.” She loves to explore but stays close to her foster family. Spicy has been handled and exposed to many people and is extremely friendly and trusting with all. She loves children and is not bothered by loud or unexpected noises. She also has done great with bath time and nail trims. Spicy will make a loving addition to a family, especially one with kids to play with her. As with all puppies, Spicy would benefit from puppy classes for additional socialization and learning so that she can be the best dog she can be.
