Daphne wants to cuddle her way into your heart... after she gets to know you. This sweetie is a little timid, but give her a day or two and she will be glued to your side whenever possible (especially if there's food around).

LIKES: Cuddling with her people (true lap dog), laying in the sun, chewing on toys or chews, playing with the resident dogs, and food (did we mention food?)

DISLIKES: Fast movements, strangers touching her or picking her up

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Potty trained in her foster home. Uses dog door.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: She is crated at night, sleeping next to her fosters bed and is quiet.

EXTRAS/MISC: Daphne is a Velcro dog and wants to be with her people. In addition to needing time to trust her people, she also needs time to warm up to another dog. A fenced yard would be best for her. She will walk on a leash, but needs more training on how to not to get under your feet, and she is not comfortable enough to relax and potty on leash yet.
