LIKES: Getting snuggle time and ear rubs. Loves chewing on nylabones, and wrestling with other dogs.

DISLIKES: Rain, sleeping away from her people

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Susan is very sweet, but shy and reserved. It takes her a bit to warm up to people. She would do best with another dog to help build her confidence and show here the ropes.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: She uses cloth pads inside, but does well when let outside on regular schedule.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Crates are not her favorite, but she will settle and be quiet if placed in a crate. At night she would much prefer sleeping in bed with her person.

EXTRAS/MISC.: Susan likes to chill out and watch some TV and will lay next to you on sofa or at your feet. She will show her teeth and make a silly whiny noise when she wants a treat or attention. Her foster has begun working on leash training, but currently she only walks a few feet and then lays down. Because of this, she will need a securely fenced yard Her timid nature would not be a good fit with small children.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.

Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
