Bud is a sweet little pup that has the best little wrinkly face and sweet demeanor. He gets along with other dogs big and small in his foster home.

LIKES: Chew toys, treats, snuggles in soft blankets.

DISLIKES: None so far - he's even cooperative for baths!

POTTY TRAINING: Bud is working on going potty outside, but he also reliably hits the potty pad for his poops in the night.

CRATE TRAINED: Bud will put himself to sleep in an open crate, and sleeps happily in a crate at night. He would be fine to be crated for a bit during the day.

OTHER/MISC: His mom is likely 1/2 pug, but we don't know what the rest of his breed mix contains. Bud's adoption fee includes his neuter, and adopters must be able to bring him to the clinic in Springfield for an early morning drop off when it is scheduled. He also has not yet completed his vaccination series, and will need a fenced yard or potty plan until he is fully vaccinated. He has a "Cherry Eye" which can be repaired during his neuter, which is covered by his adoption fee.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
