Chicka
4 year, spayed female, 13 lbs
Chihuahua Pug mix

LIKES: Snuggling and following around her humans like it’s her job, fellow calm dogs, exploring outside in mild weather, relaxing on the couch, and chew toys. She particularly adores older tween/teen kids in her foster home!

DISLIKES: She can get sad and nervous when left alone, does better if left in a crate or home with other dogs. She can also be quite shy of new people and environments, and needs a patient family who will give her some time to settle. She does not like cold, gets nervous going outside to potty during inclement weather.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Chicka is a very sweet and happy Velcro dog who loves to follow you everywhere. She is a bit shy when meeting new people. She does love longer walks but is happy sitting quietly on her peoples lap once she’s home. She especially loves to give kisses!

POTTY TRAINING: Chicka is fully potty trained when given regular outside access. In her foster home she waits at the door when she needs to go out, has only had a couple near door accidents when foster family didn’t notice her signal.

CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Chicka will sleep in a crate all night, but prefers to cuddle in bed with her human!

OTHER/MISC: Chicka has shown a bit of nervousness around cats, she would do best rather with another calm dog in the house. Also, due to her generalized nervousness, a fenced yard would be best.
