Lana was found with her sister Lucy in an orchard. After coming into foster they quickly became ill and it was discovered that they had consumed poison and they were close to death. After 3 months of medical care and monitoring there health, they are 100% ok. No permanent health issues.

Lana is a bit of a lap dog and loves her cuddle sessions. She is the best, sweetest, playful and loving little girl. She loves to play outside

She is crate trained and has been crated with her sister Lucy in her foster home.

She is potty trained and will go to the door to signal needing to go outside.

LIKES: Lana is more of a lap baby where Lucy is more independent but still likes her cuddle time. Both love to play in the fenced yard. They like other dogs and respect cats.

DISLIKES: Do not like to be away from another dog. Needs more leash training.

OTHER/MISC: Both girls are very responsive and love people. They have not been around kids in their foster home. Older kids would be fine. While we don't require that they are adopted together, we do feel it would be the best option for these two dogs. They are very sweet and would make a good companion to any family as a pair.

Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.
