LIKES: Attention from humans! Salsa may think he's a lap dog, and loves to be close to the people in his life and happily gives kisses and cuddles. He loves playing with toys and will play with other dogs once he gets to know them. He is also very food motivated.

DISLIKES: Being alone in his kennel, but he calms down quickly

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Silly and playful. Loves to run around and wrestle with the other dogs at his foster home.

POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Mostly housebroken with very few accidents. Uses puppy pads inconsistently.

CRATE TRAINIG: Salsa will go into his crate for treats and settles down after an initial whine.

OTHER/MISC: Salsa needs time to warm up to new dogs. He is timid/reactive to other animals initially and needs very slow/patient introductions. Takes a day or two to fully warm up to new animal friends. Continued training in this area will help him as he grows. As with all puppies, Salsa would benefit from puppy training classes to help him be the best dog he can be. Salsa has done great with the kids in his foster home. With his long speedy legs, Salsa would make a good hiking or running buddy. We expect him to grow to be a medium-sized adult dog.
